    This section explains our pricing policy, shipping rates, return and exchange policies, how to obtain a Return Merchant Authorization (RMA), privileges and discounts for repeat customers, and ways to contact us.     Shipping Policies & Rates

    • All orders received by 1:00PM on a business day are usually shipped the same day or certainly the next business day.
    • We normally ship by UPS Ground or USPS Priority. The shipping charges vary by amount, product ordered and destination. These start at $8.50 and up. The shipping charges will show as you checkout.

    • Given below are shipping & handling charges for expedited shipments like Next Day Air and Second Day Air:
      1. For 2nd Day Air (2-3 business days delivery), there is a charge of $18.00 for the first item and $5.00 for each additional item.
      2. For Next Day Air (next business day delivery), there is a charge of $30.00 for the first item and $7.00 per item for each additional item.
      3. For PO Box or APO address an additional charge of $5.00 will be billed to your credit card in addition to the amount appearing on the order confirmation.
      4. For overseas addresses the shipping charges are $45.00. For overseas orders (except Canada), payment is accepted only via paypal or via GoogleCheckout.

    Return & Exchange Policy

    • Returns
    • All items can be returned within 14 days of receipt. While this applies normally, for Christmas purchases, this time limit is waived. Items bought between Nov. 1 and Dec 24 can be returned by Jan 15, of next year.
    • The cost of the item (excluding shipping charges) will be reimbursed.
    • Return Merchandise Authorization is required which will be emailed to you once you submit the RMA request.
    • The RMA must accompany the return package for proper processing.
    • The shipping cost incurred to return the item will be borne by the customer.
    • Exchanges
    • You may return any item and request an exchange for a different size/color or even a different item of equal value.
    • The shipping cost incurred to return the item will be borne by the customer. Once we ship the new item the shipping cost to reship will be charged to the customer.

    • We value customer loyalty and offer significant discounts to repeat customers, allowing even greater savings. . After your first order, you will be eligible for the discounts shown below. The relevant discount coupon codes will be forwarded to you with the shipping confirmation email which is sent out as soon as the item is shipped:

    • Special Discount available for Holiday Shopping repeat purchases
    • A Specials Page (with discounts of 50% or more) set up which is available to customers only.
    • An invitation extended to join our very popular which allows for 15% discounts on all items for one year

    We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Check, Money Order, or Google Checkout.

    If you choose GoogleCheckout as the payment method, you will receive a separate email from Google Checkout with a link to authorize payment and you will then be asked to enter your credit card information. You can also use this method if you choose to pay by Discover.

    If you choose paypal as the payment method, on completion of order, go to paypal.com and send payment to apparelny@nyc.rr.com

    If you choose pay by Check or Money Order, make check payable to Apparel New York, mail to: 771 West End Ave, 6D, New York NY 10025. Please include a copy of the order confirmation with the check/money order.

    Our Pricing Policy

    Our policy is to carry high quality products at affordable prices. The quality would be the same as you would find in Department Stores like Macy's, Bloomingdale, Dillards, Nordstrom etc..

    However, our prices would be 40%-50% lower than what you would pay at such Department Stores. In the case of leather apparel, the price differential is sometimes 75% or higher. So you should realize significant savings by buying from us.

    In keeping in line with our above policy we are constantly reviewing our price structure and rely on customer feedback. Even if you are not a customer and, while browsing through our website, if you see any item which warrants review in light of what you have seen elsewhere please type in your comments below and let us know. We will immediately review our price for that item.
